The Blue Sky Foundation is gaining more recognition every day.

We recently won the LSE Pitch It! award for social enterprise. This highly prestigious award saw Blue Sky competing against some of the best brains in the world at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

A panel of experts including business leaders and social entrepreneurs interrogated Ranil Jayawardena, Chairman, in a "Dragon's Den" manner. The Blue Sky shone through.

Ranil said, "I am delighted that Blue Sky has won the first award for social enterprise in this very challenging contest. I believe that Blue Sky gained not just in a financial manner, but also in terms of broader recognition from the business community."

Ranil also remarked, "However cliched, I would like to thank the whole team for the effort that they have put in to date which was decisively recognised."
